1/23/09 - My Room is Under Construction!

It all started on Friday, 1/16 when my Dad started scrapping the popcorn ceiling in my room. I think my Grandpa Ekenberg thought Dad was having too much fun because he joined in on the festivities. My Dad and Grandpa have spent hours/days on my room and it looks super cool. I'm sad to lose my popcorn ceilings...that was always fun to look at when I woke up in the mornings (but I will get over it). Grandpa brought in a texture man today and now the walls and ceiling have a nice orange peel look.

In the next couple of days, my Mom and Dad will paint my room. Yeah, no more pink walls! Hurry up Mom and Dad! I can't wait to hang out in my new room! AND a BIG THANKS to Grandpa Ek for helping Dad out so much!!! Love you!

By the way...guess who is 7 months old today!?!!?!

1/2/09 - Adventure at White Rock Lake

Grandma and Grandpa Brickler, dad, mom, George and I all went to White Rock Lake today. This was my first time and there was so much to see. Lots of people walking and riding bikes, birds flying over the lake and even horses stopped to sniff my stroller. I thought the horse was going to eat George and I but he moved on.

12/31/08-1/1/09 - Happy New Year!

I almost made it to see the new year but I only lasted until 10pm. We had our family and friends over to celebrate! It was so much fun. We laughed, played and jammed out to a little Rock Band!

12/30/08 - Curious George and I Become Instant Friends!

I have a new best friend! His name is George. Curious George. Grandma and Grandpa Brickler brought him for me and there was an instant connection between us. Just like me...George is very curious. We talk about everything. We eat, sleep, read and play together. I love him.

12/29/08 - 6 Months Old!

I turned 6 months old on December 23rd. After Christmas, mom and dad took me to get my pictures made. Look at me sitting up with no support!

12/26/08 - Playing with My New Toys.

Today I went shopping with mom and dad and then we came home and I got to play with all my new toys!!!

12/25/08 - My First Christmas!

It's Christmas! I must have been so good cause Santa left me lots of presents. I got some new pacifiers, my first guitar, clothes, CARS DVD (Blue Ray of course), blocks, and some books. Then I got to go see Grandma and Grandpa Ekenberg. They gave me an activity walker that I can push, pull or play with on the ground, a Cowboys blanket, CARS bowl and spoon and fork, a bib, t-shirts and a super cozy Dallas Cowboys blanket!

Grandma and Grandpa Brickler are driving from New York this coming week so I get to see them soon. They sent me a new walker for Christmas. I can't wait to show them how I get around. I'm a little slow but I'm getting the hang of it!
